Reus Street

During the British occupation, Reus Street was named Lindsay Street. When the Spanish regained control of Pensacola, they renamed the street after Reus, Spain, which was a major center of the liquor industry at that time. Reus, Spain, is currently renowned as the birthplace of the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, who designed the legendary Sagrada Familia basilica in Barcelona.
