The North Hill Krewe of Phideauxfus Presents….

Indiana Bones and Raiders of the Lost Bark

Our North Hill canine friends are inviting you to join us in Alabama Square for
the first ever North Hill Mardi Gras Dog Parade on Sunday, February 15th! This
will be a fun event for the whole family, with free food, refreshments and
homemade doggie biscuits for all our furry friends.  Great sponsors will be on
hand with pet advice, raffle prizes and a Fenced Dog Park area will be set up
for pets to stretch their legs.

To kick off the day’s events, there will be a Blessing of the Animals conducted
by Rev. Neal Goldsborough of Christ Episcopal Church and then a selection of the
canine King and Queen Phideauxfus!  ( go ahead, sound it out…” FI-DO-fus”, get
it?) to lead the parade through the neighborhood.

The Pensacola Junior Humane Society and the Pensacola Humane Society will be on
hand with adorable pets ready for adoption. Karen Jones of Fast Pet Tag, Sandra
Sparks of East Hill Pet Services LLC and Tracy Hibbard of “Doggie-Delish”, and
Tracy and Terry of “Two Sisters Originals” will showcase
their services and pet products.

Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, best dog talents and tricks, and
best Whole Family and Dog “theme” costumes!  So get your costumes and wagons,
wheelbarrows, and baby strollers ready and tell your neighbors to come out and
enjoy the day.

Food, refreshments and parade participation are free to everyone.  A single $5
buys chances for all raffles.  Donation will be made to the humane societies.
