Historic Coca-Cola Building is Saved –

The North Hill Preservation Association and the entire Pensacola Community are now able to breathe a sigh of relief that a new owner has purchased the Historic Coca-Cola Bottling Plant, built in 1936, located at 1625 North Palafox Street. Industrial Energy Services, Inc. (IES) is the new owner and they are very excited to be a part of the North Hill Community. IES is one of the nation’s leading providers of energy efficient products and services for Commercial and Industrial facilities. They have clients around the country and the world. We are incredibly grateful for their investment which saved the fate of this historic building from destruction by developers who wanted to tear it down. IES has a two-phase renovation plan and will be bringing the exterior back to its original design, un-doing the architecturally incompatible renovations, and bringing the building back to life for their offices, showroom, and manufacturing of state of the art energy efficient lighting. IES has already reached out to the neighborhood, joined the North Hill Preservation Association, and has made a generous donation to our organization to fund ongoing neighborhood beautification projects. We look forward to their restoration project and the new jobs they bring to our community. Our prayers have been answered, the Historic Coca-Cola Building will be saved.
