Exterior Home/Business Changes
All homes and businesses in the Historic North Hill District (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) are governed by the City of Pensacola’s Architectural Review Board (ARB). Changes to the exterior of the homes/businesses and landscapes in our district usually require ARB approval to preserve the historic integrity and to alleviate possible fines. The City also has Tree Protection Ordinances that apply to all properties, even those not in a historic district. For more information, visit our Preservation & Transformations page.
House Plaques & Merchandise
NHPA has partnered with a local sign maker, Pensacola Sign & Graphics, to create custom-poured bronze plaques for North Hill homes. Additionally, there is merchandise with NHPA logo available for purchase through Lands’ End Business. If you would like to see other types of North Hill items, email our Love North Hill Committee at lovenorthhill@historicnorthhill.com to share your ideas.

General Neighborhood Information
Non-emergency issues and concerns such as street lights being out, unhealthy tree/s in the neighborhood, park equipment needing repair, and code enforcement issues should be addressed through the City of Pensacola’s 311 System. 311’s can also be submitted when there are concerns regarding an exterior change in the neighborhood. Contact the NHPA’s Architectural Review & Assistance Committee (ARAAC) for assistance: araac@historicnorthhill.com or president@historicnorthhill.com.
